Mid‑Century Industrial Workshop Facade — Ideal for Dioramas & HO Layouts This ready‑to‑print model is a detailed mid‑century industrial workshop façade prepared as a single 1:87 (HO) master STL. Visible features preserved in the model include a steep two‑tier pitched roof with a secondary left gable and a small rear tower roof, corrugated/diagonal roof panels, vertical plank siding with planar seams, a large front window with a regular mullion grid (approx. 45% of the front elevation), left‑front external stairs leading to an upper balcony, at least two front door openings, and a raised circular hose‑reel boss to the right of the main window. The geometry intentionally omits interior fittings, weathering, and readable signage so the piece is ready for painting and kitbashing. What’s included: one 1:87 (HO) master STL file containing the exterior façade and a flat datum base for mounting. This file is optimized for hobby FDM and SLA printing; window and door areas are through‑voids to support interior lighting or glazing inserts. Printing guidance: recommended layer height 0.1–0.16 mm for FDM, 0.05–0.1 mm for SLA. Minimum wall thickness 0.8–1.0 mm; add supports for balcony undersides, stair treads, and eaves. When converting to other scales, uniformly scale the model in your slicer. Be cautious scaling down below 1:160 — thin mullions and stair stringers can become fragile and may benefit from a slight solidify or offset operation. Use cases: perfect as a diorama focal building, HO layout backdrop, or kitbash component in mid‑century industrial yards and service alleys. The façade mounts directly to layout bases and accepts figure placement on balcony and stairs. Note: the photographic source had occluded rear faces; the rear is modeled simplified. For full interior work, pair this façade with a separate shell or backing plate.

Available railroad scales: Z (1:220), N (1:160), HO (1:87.1), S (1:64), O (1:48)
