Overview This compact mid-20th century American streetside/service-yard prop is modeled as a single HO 1:87 master STL and is intended as unobtrusive scenic filler for dioramas, model railroad layouts, and small display vignettes. The shape is broadly rectangular and low-profile; broad planar faces are interrupted by narrow trim ribs and shallow ledges that read as sheet metal or simple wooden edging. Fine signage and high-relief ornamentation were intentionally omitted to keep the model unbranded and maximally reusable. What’s included - One master STL modeled at HO 1:87 - README with recommended print orientation and example scale multipliers Printing and finishing The mesh is balanced for visibility at HO scale. Recommended print orientation is with the broad face on the bed to minimize supports. For FDM printers use 0.12–0.20 mm layer height; resin printers will reproduce the shallow trim with standard hobby settings. For painting, prime in neutral grey, apply a thin dark wash into the shallow ribs, and drybrush raised trim bands to suggest wear or painted edging. Small decals or hand-painted signage on the large panels let you quickly localize the prop without modifying the mesh. Use cases Ideal placements include beside storefronts, behind freight houses, at service yards, or along trackside fences as background clutter that supports focal models and rolling stock. Because the model is unbranded and generic, it suits multiple US midcentury locales from the 1940s through the 1960s. Limitations This listing originates from a legacy MeshRef capture and the 1940s–1960s attribution is based on source metadata and stylistic cues rather than archival measurement. Identity confidence is low (0.3); if you require a historically accurate, dimension-checked replica request a custom measured rework.

Available railroad scales: Z (1:220), N (1:160), HO (1:87.1), S (1:64), O (1:48)
