Blue cylindrical microphone capsule (gloss painted metal) mounted on a gold/brass colored articulating scissor boom arm (metal with visible screws and springs). The assembly is clamped to a flat round table/plinth. The microphone capsule is roughly vertically oriented; the scissor arm has two pivoted linkages and a clamp base. A white rectangular occlusion covers the mid-right portion of the arm and hinge. The lighting is studio-style with specular highlights on the painted capsule and slightly worn/brass look on the arm. The full microphone and articulating arm including the arm mid-section and central hinge assembly are cropped. Visible materials: painted metal (capsule), brass/metal (arm, springs, clamps), matte painted or rubber table surface. Visible wear: small patina and minor scratches on brass arm; capsule surface appears smooth and glossy.
