A rectangular antique wooden blasting/detonator machine: tall narrow wooden box constructed with dovetail-like joinery, varnished hardwood (likely oak or similar). Top-mounted vertical rod and a horizontal T-shaped wooden handle (varnished) used for mechanical action; an arched metal strap and two brass wing-nut terminal posts are visible on the top plate. A metal manufacturer plate on the front reads 'New York Blasting Machine' (legible in the photo) and should be preserved as decoration/label detail. The wood shows distinct grain and patina; screws/bolts and metal hardware show aged patina. No parts appear cropped — the entire device including base and handle is visible in the image (bottom edge of the box and full T-handle are inside the frame).
