A stylized skull rendered with gold/gilded filigree patterns engraved across the cranium and facial surfaces. The skull has distinct carved swirl/arabesque ornamentation over a yellowed bone base, with teeth that are realistic in shape and slightly darker (aged). It is suspended by three rusted iron chain links attached to eye-loop fittings in the skull and hung from a twisted, weathered wooden post with visible wood grain, knots, and green moss accents. Lighting is studio-like; the object casts a soft shadow on a flat dark ground. No human subject is present. No parts of the primary subject are cropped — the full hanging skull and supporting post are visible in the frame (the very top of one chain link lies close to the image top but is not cut).
