A small vintage cast-iron tabletop scale painted blue (labelled 'DAYTON' on the base). Features: triangular/arched dial housing with visible numeric markings, a circular central pivot housing with an exposed slotted screw, a short horizontal lever arm and a round weighing pan on the right. The painted cast iron shows chipped blue paint and surface rust (brown/orange patina) across the pan, arm, base and dial. Paper fragments or backing are visible inside the dial aperture. The base is embossed with the word 'DAYTON'. The full scale is visible within the frame; no parts appear cut off.
