High-detail 3D-printable rusted perforated steel beam designed for diorama and model-railroad scenes. Realistic perforations, pitting and warped damage make this piece ideal as collapsed structural detail, scrap, or an obstacle in factory, urban decay, and post-apocalyptic vignettes. Model notes: Files are optimized for reliable printing and clean detail. Thin sections and perforations may print best with resin or high-resolution FDM settings. Orient flat for strongest print; some supports recommended under overhangs and inside deep perforations. Sanding and dry-brushing will enhance the weathered look. Recommended print settings: 0.05–0.2 mm layer height (resin or fine FDM), 10–20% infill for FDM, supports enabled where indicated. Material suggestions: resin, PLA or PETG for durable display pieces. Scale-compatible with HO/1:87 by default; resize as needed for other scales.
