Apex Mountain Drake — Descent Strike Make a dramatic statement on your layout or tabletop with this high-detail flying drake sculpted in an aggressive dive pose. The model features a swept-back cranial crest, hooked muzzle with visible conical teeth, forward-reaching forelimbs with curved talons, large membranous wings with finger-like supports, and an upward-arched tail studded with serrated dorsal spines. Layered scale plates, chipped edges, and a subtle underside micro-stipple give the model texture that takes paint well without fragile micro-details. The drake is mounted on a fractured mountain ledge: the scenic base includes three detachable rock shards that key into the main base with alignment pegs, enabling alternate compositions and easier printing. The STL is provided as a single 1:87 (HO) master split into print-friendly parts (body+base, left wing, right wing, tail, and three rock shards). Peg-and-socket joins are modeled with generous tolerances for resin and filament printers, and an assembly/print notes TXT file is included. Important: Miniature Reality supplies one 1:87 master STL. To print at other scales, scale the master uniformly in your slicer and then check peg/socket tolerances and minimum wall thickness for your material. Recommended workflow: for resin, incline wings slightly; for FDM, orient the wings vertically and use supports under the finger struts.
