A vintage U.S. wall-mounted mailbox labeled 'LETTERS' (embossed raised letters across the front). Paint layers include faded red on the upper lid and front, and blue-green on the lower door with areas of green and bare rust showing through. Surface exhibits heavy chipping, paint flaking, and rust corrosion concentrated on the lower panel and edges. The mailbox is bolted to vertical wooden planks; a small keyed lock/knob is centered on the lower front door. No parts of the mailbox are cut off; the entire mailbox is visible within the frame.
