A long, narrow varnished wooden steam launch with black-painted hull and white boot stripe, an open passenger section under a scalloped fabric canopy supported by brass/metal stanchions, a polished brass/chrome funnel amidships emitting a visible steam plume, and an enclosed glass-window cabin toward the stern. The boat shows varnished teak planking and brass fittings, with a small aft flagstaff flying a red ensign. The full boat is visible in the frame; no major parts of the primary subject (bow, stern, hull, cabin) are cropped. The smoke plume extends upward but is contained within the image bounds and is not a cropped element of the primary subject.
