Highly detailed 3D-printable halibut (flatfish) miniature designed for dioramas, museum cabinets, model harbors and tabletop scenes. This anatomically accurate right-eyed halibut captures characteristic features — dorsal and anal fins, lateral line and textured skin — while remaining optimized for clean printing and easy finishing. Model details and uses: - Supplied at a display-friendly size for collectors and diorama builders. Perfect for harbor, fish market and shoreline scenes or as a mounted specimen in a cabinet of curiosities. - Anatomical detail preserved in fins and body texture for realistic painting and weathering. Print recommendations: - Best printed lying flat on the bed to preserve fine detail across the body and reduce supports. Minimal supports recommended under thin fin edges. - Layer height: 0.10–0.20 mm for fine detail. Recommended wall thickness: 0.8–1.2 mm for filament prints; resin printers will capture finer texture at lower layer heights. - Consider hollowing and adding a drain hole if printing in filament to save material, or scale the model to fit your desired diorama scale. Finishing & display: - Prime and paint with acrylics or model paints; use washes to emphasize texture and subtle coloration. Glue or mount on bases or diorama surfaces — the flat underside makes adhesive mounting straightforward. Files supplied: high-resolution printable mesh ready for scaling and slicing. Compatible with common slicers and resin workflows.
