06queendenmark — HO Background Building (1:87) Compact and silhouette-forward, 06queendenmark is a purpose-built midground/background building for HO model railways and dioramas. The model is composed of stacked rectangular volumes with stepped upper sections and a tiered roofline; facades are broad and planar with intentionally simplified window and door openings. A generous flat base follows the building footprint for direct placement on foam, plywood or sectional modules. You will receive one locked master STL at HO 1:87 named 06queendenmark_master_1-87.stl. Miniature Reality supplies a single locked master only; to print at other scales scale the master in your slicer by the ratio 87 ÷ target_denominator (examples: 1:48 = 181.25%, 1:72 = 120.83%). After scaling, always verify the model's bounding box in millimetres against adjacent elements before slicing. Print preparation Because the file is a legacy MeshRef import that prioritises massing over small detail, inspect the mesh for nonmanifold edges, thin-shell windows and disconnected islands. Close thin apertures or thicken them to suit your printer. Orient the broad base to the build plate to minimise supports. For FDM, 0.1–0.2 mm layers work well; for SLA consider 0.025–0.05 mm layers and support placement that avoids large planar facades.
