This detailed HO (1:87) master STL reproduces an early 20th‑century wood‑framed lighthouse keeper house with an attached lantern tower — ideal for dioramas, model‑railroad layouts and historical displays. The model preserves the building’s key visible features: a central front door, stacked rectangular windows with simple mullion positions, a left gable bay, horizontal siding on the main body and shingled cladding on the tower. The tower is modeled with a compact lantern cap (small cupola) and rises above the main roofline to create a strong vertical focal point.
Important: the source photograph contained a rectangular occlusion that covers part of the tower’s mid‑upper face; that area is intentionally left simplified in the mesh rather than being filled in with speculative detail. Rear faces and the foundation underside are kept minimal to reduce unnecessary interior geometry.
You will receive a single 1:87 (HO) master STL file oriented with the foundation flat on the build plate. Printing advice: resin printing at 50–100 micron layers will reproduce the finest window and cupola detail; FDM prints at 0.1–0.2 mm layer height are also suitable. Use supports for the lantern cap and narrow overhangs; consider a brim or raft for tower prints on FDM. To print at other scales uniformly scale the STL by (87 ÷ target scale denominator) and verify minimum wall thickness for your printer. This model is perfect for coastal scenes, display bases, and HO layout integration — paint and weathering will emphasize the simplified siding seams and shingle silhouette.
Available railroad scales: Z (1:220), N (1:160), HO (1:87.1), S (1:64), O (1:48)
