This ornate hutch sideboard is a finely-proportioned furniture prop for dioramas, model-railroad interiors, and tabletop displays. The model reproduces an upper twin-door display case set on stanchions above a lower buffet with a central double door and two symmetrical drawer-stack columns. Key visible features preserved include the curved side profiles, top crest ornament, equal-height drawer fronts, central fluted door pair, and small round knob posts. All wood grain and fine carving were intentionally flattened to neutral diffuse faces to ensure crisp small-scale print results and to give hobbyists a painter-friendly surface. You will receive a single assembled 1:87 (HO) master STL. The master preserves measured proportions from the original reference: the central double-door section occupies roughly 40% of the overall width and each drawer-stack column about 28% of the width. Glass panels are represented as shallow recessed, opaque faces — ideal for painting or replacing with thin clear acetate after printing. Knob elements are simplified posts sized to the drawer height; they can be substituted with aftermarket knobs for added realism. Printing recommendations: print the model on its back to minimize supports on the decorative front face. If desired, split the model along the countertop seam to print upper and lower portions separately for different finishes or to accommodate interior lighting. Add supports as needed under the countertop overhang and under stanchions. When scaling to other sizes, inspect stanchion thickness and knob posts and use mesh-thickening or slicer minimum line width increases to preserve structural integrity. Use this hutch to furnish interiors on HO layouts, create convincing room vignettes in dioramas, or as a display piece in miniature exhibitions. The neutral, flattened surfaces are intended to give you full creative control during painting and finishing.
