This HO-scale (1:87) steam traction engine STL is designed for hobbyists, layout builders, and collectors wanting an authentic early 20th-century industrial machine for dioramas or display. The model preserves a readable rear spoked drive wheel with rim bolt holes, a smaller front steering wheel, a riveted cylindrical boiler, external linkage, axle housings, and a rectangular side toolbox. Readability and printability were prioritized: rivet rows and hub bosses are modeled as raised geometry to survive primer and weathering. You will receive a single master STL at 1:87 (HO) plus a PDF with Bill of Materials and conversion guidance for other scales. We removed any readable signage or lettering from the reference image; where the photo was occluded (person blocking the chassis, crop over the upper boiler/stack) those regions are explicitly marked UNKNOWN and not invented. Printing tips: for FDM, orient to reduce spoke overhangs and use supports for fine spokes if needed. For resin printing, use high resolution to emphasize rivets and spokes.
