This cathedral‑style wooden radio cabinet recreates the look of a 1930s tabletop radio with the period details that matter in miniature: the sweeping arched top, vertical fluted corner columns, a fan‑pattern speaker grille recessed behind a flat speaker cloth plane, an ornamental central dial bezel, three evenly spaced lower control knobs with a central upper knob, and two small toggles on the right face. The molded base plinth and front silhouette are preserved to read correctly at HO scale. You will receive one 1:87 (HO) master STL file sized for immediate printing as a diorama or model‑railway prop. The grille is modeled as cutouts to retain strong silhouette contrast; painters can insert fabric swatches or paint the recess to imply speaker cloth. For display‑quality prints use resin at 50–100 micron layer heights; for faster FDM prints use 0.2 mm layers, 3 perimeters, and optionally scale up slightly for stronger knobs. The dial aperture accepts a tiny painted insert or a small drop of clear epoxy for a glass effect. All visible text and branding have been removed. Ideal uses: HO layouts, 1930s interior dioramas, shop or repair scenes, and tabletop displays. The file preserves front‑face geometry from the source photo; rear internals are not modeled.
