This detailed HO 1:87 horizontal cylindrical storage tank sits on twin trestles and includes an attached ladder, visible rivet/bolt heads and two small rectangular sheds beneath the cylinder. The master STL preserves seam lines, rivet rows and trestle cross-bracing so the printed piece integrates naturally into railside dioramas and industrial layouts. The download contains one master STL scaled to 1:87 (HO) — scale uniformly in your slicer to print at other scales. Print orientation: lay the cylinder axis horizontal to reduce seam artifacts; ladder rungs are thin and benefit from layer heights of 0.12–0.2 mm or thicker wall/perimeter counts to increase strength. Trestles may be printed attached for maximum durability or split and glued for paint access. Painting tips: primer in neutral gray, base color for shell, oil-wash streaking along seams and rust at trestle footings, drybrush to highlight rivet heads.
