This highly detailed two‑story brick general store ruin recreates a small‑town American mercantile block from the 1940s–1960s, modeled and optimized for HO 1:87. The model preserves key architectural and ruin details: deep recessed plate‑glass storefront openings left as cutouts, surviving cast‑iron columns and pilasters at storefront bays, segmental‑arched upper windows with warped steel sash remnants, charred timber lintels and exposed joist stubs, and a jagged centrally collapsed parapet showing corbeled brickwork. A warped stamped‑metal awning hangs by one end and attached rubble is modeled along collapse zones. Surface features include soot staining, spalled brick, efflorescence, blistered paint and rust.
