This neutral midcentury American prop (1940s–1960s) is a compact period accent modelled with a softened boxy silhouette, rounded corners, and broad recessed panels. It was prepared to emphasize silhouette and paint-readability rather than maker-specific text or logos, so any unreadable markings from the source were removed. Included - One master STL scaled for 1:87 (HO). Miniature Reality supplies exactly one 1:87 master. To print at other scales, uniformly scale the STL in your slicer (example: to 1:76 scale, scale to ~114%; to 1:48 scale, scale to ~181%). Always confirm final dimensions in your slicer before printing. Why this works for hobbyists - Readable at small gauges: broad panels and gentle fillets survive sanding and weathering. - Versatile: works as a trackside accessory, small kiosk, or interior cabinet in midcentury dioramas. Printing notes - Resin: 45–60° tilt with fine supports on recessed panel edges preserves surface finish. - FDM: lay the broadest face on the bed and use extra outer shells if you plan to sand. Finishing and customization - The simplified geometry accepts primer, washes, and drybrushing easily. Because the model is intentionally unbranded, it’s an excellent base for custom signage, vents, and kitbash add-ons. Review note - Origin: legacy MeshRef pipeline; the asset had automated cleanup applied. Manual review is recommended to confirm suitability for marketplace listing.
