This HO 1:87 Volkswagen Type 2 T1 split-window body shell brings a classic 1950s camper/utility silhouette to your layout or diorama. The model captures the V-shaped front nose and central split windshield, two round headlight housings, a recessed circular badge area (left blank), a chrome-style front bumper with vertical overriders, four horizontal side trim rails, side awning windows and a raised roof dome with narrow skylight panels. Delivered as a single 1:87 master STL, the shell is ideal for HO model-railroad layouts, 1950s dioramas, kitbashing and display projects. Typical printing advice: support the front bumper and overhangs, consider resin printing for thin trim detail, and pair the shell with an aftermarket chassis or printed underframe. The model omits unseen underside mounting details that were not visible in the source image.
