This model reproduces a Mid‑Century floor console television/radio cabinet typical of the late 1940s. The front is organized around a large circular display bezel with a metal rim, two identical round control knobs below it, and a full-width woven/perforated speaker grille occupying the lower half. Top trim overhang and a low plinth with feet complete the period look. The reference photo had the central screen area masked; to avoid inventing internal electronics the model preserves the bezel rim and leaves the interior screen area unspecified. What you get: one master STL supplied at 1:87 (HO). Use-case: ideal for HO dioramas, model-railroad interiors, tabletop prop scenes, and display vignettes. Print notes: resin printers at fine resolution capture grille perforation and bezel detail best. FDM users should consider slightly enlarging small perforations and watch nozzle size and layer height. Orient the part on its back to protect bezel rims during printing, or upright with targeted supports under the plinth. The grille pattern is geometric perforation (not fabric) so it prints reliably at HO. If you scale to smaller sizes (N scale or smaller), adjust grille hole size before printing. The mesh omits brand labels and internal electronics and is optimized for a balance of detail and printability.
Available railroad scales: Z (1:220), N (1:160), HO (1:87.1), S (1:64), O (1:48)
