Bring early steam-era machinery to your layout and dioramas with this tracked steam traction engine model, supplied as a single 1:87 (HO) master STL. The CAD reproduces the central cylindrical boiler and vertical smokestack, twin multi-spoke flywheels, discrete track pads with drive sprocket and idler wheels, front guard ring with sprocket, ladder/stair assembly and hand-valves. Parts are delivered discretely (boiler, smokestack, flywheels, track pads, frame, ladder, handwheels) so you can choose material and resolution per part. The download includes a conversion and printing notes PDF that explains how to rescale the master for other common scales. Recommended printing: resin for small fine parts like spokes and ladder treads, FDM for larger parts; orient and support to minimize visible seams. Ideal for HO model railroading layouts, historical industrial dioramas and collectors. Note: no pre-scaled STLs are provided; branding and text from the reference were removed.
