A finely ornamented Baroque-style carved picture frame in tall portrait format, featuring a decorative crest with a central cartouche, layered acanthus leafwork, beaded inner moulding and corner rosettes. Supplied at as the reference master for scaling, the frame is ideal as a prop in dioramas, interior displays and miniature gallery scenes. The crest and side pilasters include delicate carved tips and small hanging drops; these read well at but may require careful handling at very small scales. For best results check your printer’s minimum feature size and place supports to protect the crest and narrow leaf tips. The internal rabbet accepts thin backing or simulated glass so the frame can be finished as a gallery or mantelpiece focal.
