The piece features a rectangular handheld form with rounded corners, a shallow relief speaker area that reads as perforation without fragile holes, low-profile control reliefs, and a recessed back panel seam. Designed to sit convincingly on café tables, station counters, and interior shelves, it’s perfect for adding small narrative detail to model-railroad layouts, shadowboxes, and tabletop vignettes. Printing and finishing notes - The grille and small knurl details are shallow reliefs to preserve texture at small scale; use finer layer heights for best fidelity. Minimal supports are typically required; the broad vertical faces print cleanly on the bed. After printing, apply a dark wash into the grille and seams and then a light dry-brush on raised ridges to make controls and edges read from a distance. Use cases - model-railroading interiors, diorama tables, museum-style shadowboxes, and tabletop scenes where a compact period prop improves storytelling. The underside is flat for easy mounting into scenic bases or gluing onto terrain. Note: the original sculpt is a generic midcentury design with no brand logos or readable markings.
