A straight section of dug-in infantry trench modeled as a cross-cut earthwork base. The walls are shored with vertical timber posts and horizontal log revetment, and the fighting step is topped with rows of stacked sandbags.
A run of wooden duckboards forms the trench floor, while tufts of grass, loose gravel and a strand of barbed wire dress the earthen parapet. The cut earth banks read as packed soil and rubble.
A modular terrain piece for World War trench-warfare dioramas and wargame tables, ideal for the 1914-1918 Western Front or later dug-in defensive lines. Butt several sections together to build a longer trench network for infantry figures.
