A nightmarish burrowing worm rearing up from the ground, its bulbous head split by an enormous circular maw crammed with rows of jagged fangs. A glowing bioluminescent lure dangles from a stalk above its head, the sinister bait of a deep-dwelling ambush predator.

The segmented body is armored in mottled blue and green plating studded with bristling spines and ringed by a leathery collar, coiling down onto a rocky base as though it has just erupted from below.

This monster is a great ambush encounter for a fantasy or sci-fi tabletop game, a cavern or underdark dungeon, or a creepy subterranean diorama. Its upright bulk makes a memorable single-base threat looming over adventurer figures.
