A riveted iron hanging cage, or gibbet, built from vertical bars bound by studded horizontal bands and topped with a conical, faceted iron roof. A heavy suspension ring at the crown lets it dangle from a gallows arm, gatehouse beam or dungeon ceiling.

The narrow cylindrical body is just large enough to confine a single captive, with a bundle of rope or rags visible through the bars. Rusted metalwork, rivet heads and worn banding give it a grim, medieval prison character.

Use it as a menacing set piece in a fantasy tabletop dungeon, castle courtyard or witch-hunter scene, or as an atmospheric prop for a dark diorama or wargame board depicting a town square or torture chamber.
