Edwardian London Omnibus — HO 1:87 for Dioramas This compact Edwardian-era omnibus is supplied as one watertight STL master scaled to HO 1:87 and is designed as a terminus or street-side accent for model railway layouts and small urban dioramas. The omnibus features a short rectangular passenger body with recessed window panels, a gently convex roof with low-relief rooftop textures, clearly separated front and rear massing to indicate direction, and an integrated reinforced boarding step plus a trimmed platform stub so the bus can be placed directly against a scenicked platform or kerb. Wheels are modelled as flattened faces to improve durability at small scale. Included: one watertight STL at 1:87 (HO) only. To use in other scales rescale the HO master in your slicer or modelling tool (for example, to print at 1:48 multiply linear dimensions by 48/87 ≈ 0.552). Print guidance: for FDM print on its side to reduce supports on the roof and avoid bridging across wheel wells; for resin printing place to minimize roof contact points and add modest supports under the platform. The mesh was simplified to emphasize silhouette and placement utility rather than prototype-accurate filigree.
