This Volkswagen Golf Mk3 base-mesh is a compact, paintable HO-scale car body model supplied as a single 1:87 master STL. The shell preserves the Mk3’s recognisable silhouette — rounded roofline, short front end and raked hatch — while simplifying fine details for reliable small-scale prints. Features include recessed headlamp housings, defined wheel arches sized for common HO wheels, sealed glazing and a closed underbody to reduce internal supports. The file is ideal for HO model railway layouts, streetscene dioramas, kitbashing and small fleet builds. Printing advice: orient the body on its wheels to minimise internal supports; use 0.08–0.20 mm layer heights and a 0.25–0.40 mm nozzle depending on your printer. The model is intentionally badge-free; paint and weather to match your scene. One 1:87 (HO) STL included. For custom scale masters or open variants, contact Miniature Reality.
