Realistic mackerel sculpt sized as a master for coastal dioramas, model-railway harbour scenes, and small aquarium displays. The piece reproduces the elongated fusiform profile of an Atlantic-style mackerel with a tapered head, pronounced eye recess, forked tail, two dorsal fins followed by small posterior finlets, and paired pectoral and pelvic fins. Surface detail is intentionally low-frequency so the model accepts washes and highlights without requiring micro-detail painting. The belly is smoothed to accept paint, and a shallow lateral groove is provided to catch washes and produce a highlighted line. Usage: ideal as a dockside or boat cargo accent in dioramas, or grouped into schools for harbour compositions. For display-sized specimens, scale the master up and test supports and finishing techniques.
