The mesh preserves a shallow central channel and gentle sloping banks with preserved silhouette edges and a flat rectangular underside so the piece sits reliably in layout recesses or on display bases. What you get - 1 x master STL file delivered at Miniature Reality's HO 1:87 master scale. No alternate-scale STLs or source files are included. Key features - Defined channel profile with modest bank ledges suitable for glue-on vegetation, printed reeds, or small rock clusters. - Rectangular modular footprint for easy cropping, combining, or placement within a layout. - Silhouette-focused mesh: clear macro-shape for scenic finishing and water effects. Printing and finishing - Pre-print checks: run manifold and normals checks and repair small holes or stray triangles from the legacy export. - Orientation: place flat base on the bed for FDM; for resin, tilt slightly to minimize supports touching bank silhouettes. - Layer height and materials: FDM 0.15–0.20 mm; resin 0.05–0.10 mm. PLA/PETG for layout durability, resin for highest bank fidelity. - Scale note: the STL is locked to 1:87; to print at another scale, uniformly scale by the ratio of the target scale denominator to 87 (eg 1:160 -> 87/160 = 0.54375). Use cases Designed to drop into HO layouts, act as a scenic base for dioramas, or provide a natural obstacle on tabletop game tables.
