Printing and finishing tips - Orient the model with the flattest underside on the build plate. For resin, tilt the water plane slightly; for FDM, use a brim. - Apply minimal supports under bank overhangs; use small contact points on visible faces. - Prime, wash, and drybrush the banks; paint the water plane a base color then add gloss varnish or a thin resin layer. Scaling examples - 1:72 = 120.8% of the HO file, 1:160 = 54.4% of the HO file. Verify bed fit after scaling.
