Dunewind Sandwyrm — Buried Roost is a sculpted scenic base that places a desert-adapted wyrm low within a sand slab. The piece emphasizes readable ridge segmentation, callused eyelid folds, wind-rippled sand texture, discreet bone fragments and mineralized salt seams at exposed anatomy. The sold item is a single 1:87 (HO) master STL designed for hobbyists and painters: the buried volume is hollowed and keyed for optional separate printing and painting, underside drain ports are provided, and the base has a 4–6 mm average thickness for rigidity. Print guidance: optimized for SLA/MSLA at fine layer heights to preserve surface textures; for FDM print with a brim and consider splitting the hollowed sections for easier support removal. Minimum feature thicknesses were enforced to improve durability. No additional scale STLs are included — scale from the 1:87 master if you need different sizes. Use the model in desert dioramas, as a wargame objective, or as a small display centerpiece. The sculpt intentionally avoids humanoid anatomy and fragile thin spikes to maximize print success and handling durability.
