Armed US Merchant Mariner

A United States Merchant Marine sailor modeled advancing with a rifle at the ready. He wears a knit watch cap, a blue chambray work shirt over an undershirt, and loose dark dungarees with laced boots, a slung pouch at his side.

He carries a battle rifle across his body, mid-stride and watchful, capturing a mariner pressed into an armed shipboard or shore role.

A useful figure for mid-20th-century harbor, convoy, and dockside dioramas, maritime layout scenes, and wartime wargame tables where merchant crews defend their ships.
