An early twentieth century mounted police officer, shown from behind in a pale summer-weight tunic with a stiff peaked cap, a leather cross strap and waist belt, and a baton hung at the hip. Flared riding breeches tuck into tall polished boots, and the legs are set wide in a rider's seat.
The pose is made to sit astride a horse, so the figure suits a mounted patrol vignette, a parade line or a crowd-control scene; a mount is not part of the piece.
The cobbled base blends straight into a paved 1920s city street, a park path or a station forecourt on a period layout.
