A hulking bipedal plant-monster composed of twisted roots, bark plates and vine-like tendrils. The creature stands with a broad, root-matted base that flows into thick, stump-like legs; knees are knobbly root nodes. Long, tapering arm-limbs end in curved, claw-like root talons. The torso and shoulders are layered with overlapping bark-like plates and hanging filamentous moss. The head is a wide, gaping maw set into a mass of vines and branches; the mouth interior is glossy dark red/black and filled with many conical, sharp teeth (stained and slightly glossy). Surface color is predominantly dark green and brown with muted highlights of mossy green and occasional darker wet-looking patches around the mouth and inner crevices. Fine spines and twig protrusions stud the shoulders, arms and head. The base is a flattened mat of roots and mud that integrates with the feet. No parts of the primary subject are cut off; the full creature including head, arms and root-like feet is visible in the image.
