A straight section of dressed-stone irrigation channel, with mortared block walls running along both sides of a water-filled trough. A geared sluice mechanism sits midway, its brass cogwheels ready to raise or lower a gate and control the flow, while the turquoise water surface catches the light between the walls.
The neat masonry courses, mossy edges, and mechanical gearing give this modular terrain piece plenty of interest, and it lines up end-to-end with matching sections to run water across a board. Stone tones, water glazing, and metallic gears reward layered painting.
Ideal for a rural, medieval, or fantasy diorama, a mill or farmstead scene on a model railroad, or a wargame table needing a canal, aqueduct, or defended waterway.
