A long, low commercial broiler house built on a timber post frame with a shallow-pitch corrugated metal roof and vertical board cladding on the gable ends. Two square vent stacks rise through the ridge.
The long side walls are the giveaway: a continuous run of roll-down ventilation curtain panels in alternating green and yellow, framed between the posts, with small dark inlet windows above them along the eaves line. The whole building sits on a low concrete apron.
A signature structure for any poultry or mixed farm from the mid-twentieth century onward. Set it behind a farmhouse and feed bins on a rural layout, use it as a background industry beside a country road, or repurpose the long shell as a shed or barracks on a wargame board.
