A small vintage cast-iron tabletop scale painted blue (labelled 'DAYTON' on the base). Features: triangular/arched dial housing with visible numeric markings, a circular central pivot housing with an exposed slotted screw, a short horizontal lever arm and a round weighing pan on the right. The painted cast iron shows chipped blue paint and surface rust (brown/orange patina) across the pan, arm, base and dial. Paper fragments or backing are visible inside the dial aperture. The base is embossed with the word 'DAYTON'.
