Thorn Vine Serpent

A monstrous plant serpent rears up in a coiling S-curve, its scaled body formed from overlapping green leaves rather than reptile skin. Thick woody thorn-vines wrap and bind its length like living barbed wire, sprouting spines and small purple buds along the way.

Its leafy head opens on a fanged maw with a single glowing yellow eye and a forked red tongue, and the whole creature rises from a cracked-earth base.
