Artillery Ground Burst Effect

A shell-burst effect piece: a churning column of dark smoke boils upward from the ground and mushrooms into a heavy crown, its folds split by bright orange fire glowing along the seams.

At the foot, torn earth and sod are thrown outward in ragged spikes, with clods and splinters flung clear of the crater lip. The whole effect sits on a small round base that can be dropped onto a table between turns or fixed permanently into groundwork.

Use it as a strike marker on a wargame board, or as the frozen moment of impact in a battlefield vignette alongside guns, tanks and infantry.
