An oval display base filled edge to edge with stylised crushed stone. Angular broken slabs with bright chipped faces are packed across the centre, graded down to smaller rounded pebbles that ring the rim, with patches of moss and rust-coloured staining worked into the gaps.
The stone is cut in clean, exaggerated planes rather than fine natural texture, so the surface reads clearly at a distance and takes a wash and drybrush without turning muddy. A plain lipped border runs around the outside for a tidy finished edge.
Use it to mount a single figure or a small vignette, to give a character a rubble-strewn quarry or riverbed footing, or as a ready-made ballast or gravel patch dropped into a diorama. Suits historical, modern and fantasy tabletop projects alike.
