A small rural outbuilding with rough coursed stone lower walls, a board-and-batten timber gable and a wide plank shingle roof. Tall double plank doors fill the gable end, big enough to run a car or a tractor inside, and a four-pane window sits in the loft above them.
A lean-to bay runs down one flank on square timber posts, giving an open-sided shelter for a workbench, firewood or a parked vehicle, and a small side entrance is protected by its own tiny pitched hood with an angled brace.
Ideal as a farm workshop, a village mechanic's shed, a smallholding garage or a lineside store on a rural layout. The mixed stone-and-timber construction reads convincingly anywhere from the late nineteenth century to the present day, so it drops into period and modern scenes alike.
