Naval Officer Taking a Sextant Sight

A uniformed naval officer stands taking a bearing, raising a navigation instrument to his eye. He wears a dark double-breasted service tunic with gold buttons and rank stripes, matching trousers, and a white peaked officer's cap.

The upright, attentive stance and formal naval dress give the figure clear authority on deck. The buttoned tunic, cap, and handheld instrument are legible for painting.

A commanding figure for harbor, warship-deck, and dockside dioramas, and a fitting officer for maritime wargame and model scenes.
