A World War II American infantryman in a crouched firing stance, cradling a mortar round in both hands as if about to drop it down the tube. He wears an M1 steel helmet, an olive-drab field jacket and trousers, ankle boots, and a belt pouch at his hip.

He is built for wargame mortar teams and WWII battlefield dioramas, and pairs naturally with a mortar and other crew figures. He also works as a background soldier for a 1940s military scene on a layout.
