A single-span stone culvert built from coursed masonry blocks, with a semicircular voussoir arch spanning the water or track opening. Squared quoin stones frame the arch and the corner pilasters, while a flat coping cap runs across the top of the parapet.
Angled wing walls splay outward from each side of the arch to retain the embankment fill, ending in stepped capstones. The weathered grey-and-tan blockwork reads as a period railway or roadside drainage structure.
Set it beneath a rail embankment or roadway crossing a stream or gully on a diorama, model railway or wargame board. It suits late-1800s through mid-1900s rural and industrial scenes and makes a natural terrain feature for a table edge or watercourse.
