A young cheetah crouches low over a grassy patch, shoulders hunched and head lowered as if stalking, weight carried forward on its front paws. The lithe body, long tail and slender legs capture the cat's characteristic hunting posture.

The tan coat is dotted with solid black spots, fading to a pale underside, with the tell-tale black tear-line running from eye to muzzle and a ringed tail tip. Fur texture, alert eyes and lean musculature are sculpted for lifelike display, mounted on a grass-and-earth base.

A striking wild-animal piece for African savanna and safari-park dioramas, zoo scenes and wildlife display bases, and for model railway or wargame terrain needing an exotic predator.
