Mangrove Root Lurker Beast

A hulking beast woven entirely from gnarled mangrove roots and twisted deadwood. Its quadrupedal body is a mass of interlocking coils and knotted timber, with a snarling wooden maw, splayed root-claw feet, and faintly glowing eyes peering out from the tangle.

Ridges of splintered branches run along its back like a bristling mane, and moss and rot cling to the crevices, giving it the look of a swamp guardian dragged up out of the mire. The sculpt captures a creeping, predatory menace.

This nature-elemental monster is a great encounter for a fantasy tabletop game set in a swamp, forest, or druidic campaign, or a striking centerpiece for a wetland fantasy diorama. Its bulk towers over adventurer figures as a memorable boss creature.
