Historical Canvas Wall Tent with Awning

A period military-style wall tent: green canvas stretched over a timber ridge pole and A-frame end poles, with short vertical sidewalls and an extended front awning carried on two forward poles and its own guy lines.

The canvas hangs with convincing weight - deep folds down the ridge, tension cones at each tie-off, a rolled and tied door flap, and a slightly sagging awning edge. All guys run out to individual pegs pushed into an integral oval ground pad, so the tent can be dropped onto a board as a finished pitch.

Suits an encampment diorama from the Napoleonic era through the American Civil War and into the early twentieth century - officers' quarters, a field kitchen, a surgeon's tent or a sutler's stall. Repeat it in rows to build a camp behind a wargaming battle line.
