Armored Plated Beast Creature

A low, heavily armored quadruped creature covered in overlapping bony plates like a glyptodont or armadillo. Thick rocky scutes run across its arched back, a segmented armored tail trails behind, and stout clawed limbs anchor it to the ground.

The chunky, defensive build makes it read as a burrowing or armored beast, equally at home as a prehistoric mammal or a fantasy monster.
